Kate M is the woman behind the curtains (and cartoon bird) here at Larking About.
A motivated self-starter, she is always working to have a better understanding of code, design patterns and languages. She spends most of her free time seeking out new projects and opportunities to grow as a developer and expose herself to new concepts and practices.
She credits the start of her development career to her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who helped turn a hobby into an opportunity.

Lark the lark
Something of a mascot but more of a personality, Lark is a fawn-speckled songbird.
She flits around the site to offer helpful suggestions, point out key information and add some comic relief. She also plays a mean game of BINGO.
